Meeting with the World Bank Public Infrastructure Assessment Mission

On 24 October 2022, meeting was held at the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan with the World Bank mission led by Ian Hawkesworth Senior Governance Specialist, Tessa Cullen Governance Specialist, Naomi Bourn Specialist and leadership of the Accounts Chamber.
During the meeting, the specialists thanked for the strengthening of cooperation on infrastructure management issues and highly appreciated the activities of the Accounts Chamber.
The purpose of this mission was to conduct a Comprehensive Assessment of the Infrastructure Governance Structure (InfraGov) in relation to Tajikistan.
The main issues that were raised during the meeting were public investment and infrastructure in Tajikistan, the role of the Accounts Chamber in these processes, in particular, expert assessment of the situation in this area, and monitoring the value for money.
The meeting ended in a friendly atmosphere, constructive dialogue and mutual understanding.
